OUR RESTAURANT
At the Crab Cooker Restaurant we
proudly serve the finest Pacific caught Dungeness crab,
Alaskan red King crab legs and Alaskan Killer crab
claws, cold water western Australian lobster, fresh
caught Dana Point spiny lobster, King salmon farmed from
Norway, Scotland and Canada, local channel island caught White Sea
Bass, Alaskan Halibut and much more. We fish all over
the world and oppose Net fishing which depletes the
ocean fisheries. Therefore we advocate, promote and use
hook and line caught fish for the future of our ocean
fisheries. Hook and line fishing will not hurt the
reproductive capability of the school of fish.

About Our Owner
The truth is, our owner, Bob Roubian, isn’t really a
chef. He is an accomplished fisherman who has become a
world-renowned expert on all aspects of fish and
seafood. Bob learned the mesquite broil when he was 11
years old during the depression and has found that this
healthy and tasty method of cooking enhances the
delicate flavors of quality seafood, where other cooking
methods may hide or overpower the fish’s wonderful
subtle flavors. As Bob says, "good fish is easy to cook,
let the taste that God gave it shine through by using a
hot fire and light seasoning.
To ensure quality control we process and smoke our fish
daily on our own premises. We also bake and cook fresh
daily, our own fisherman’s bread and breadsticks, along
with our clam chowder, Romano potatoes and more. Our
staff is like family; one manager has been with us for
50 years and some waitresses have been here for 40
years. Together we work hard to make every detail
perfect for your meal at the Crab Cooker. Here at the
Crab Cooker the customer is king! We take great pride in
serving the world’s finest seafood. I want every person
